EL Image Converter (ELIC for short) is a freeware application for Windows that creates Palm databases for use with EasyLock. EasyLock (available at www.dseifert.com) is a great security application for PalmOS-based devices, which additionally allows to display custom graphics at system startup. If you want to use your own personal pictures, these have to be converted into the Palm database format. EL Image Converter does exactly this job.
In combination with EasyLock v3.6 it is now possible to generate and display graphics in resolution 320x320.
This version supports bitmap compression to help you save memory on your device. Another new feature is ELIC's ability to delete its own settings in the registry. It is now easier to remove EL Image Converter completely from your system.
